# Top Bar

Displays the active module and global actions (e.g. Sign Out).

The top bar is the *global* header that stays visible no matter which builder you open.\
It performs three simple but important functions:

| Region                             | Purpose                                                                                                   | Notes                                                                    |
| ---------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **App Brand** (left)               | Displays the MindEngage logo + the name of the **active module** (e.g. “Course Builder”, “Quiz Builder”). | Helps you confirm which workspace you’re in when multiple tabs are open. |
| **Status Area** (center, optional) | Modules can inject temporary messages such as server status.                                              | Used to indicate availability of the server and other interruptions.     |
| **Global Actions** (right)         | **Sign Out** button (more actions will be added in future releases).                                      | Always available, even during long-running generation tasks.             |
| **Credits**                        | Currently available credits                                                                               | Click on the credits to buy more credits using Stripe payment system     |
| **User Name**                      | Current login name                                                                                        | Clicking the name shows more info about the user, consumed credits.      |
| **Help**                           | Launches help documents                                                                                   | Detailed git-book documentation in a new tab                             |
