# Quickstart

MindEngage Authoring Studio is a web-based authoring environment that lets you generate, edit, and publish fully interactive STEM courses.

### 1. Prerequisites

> **Browsers:** Chrome 118+, Firefox 115+, Edge 118+\
> **Account:** Google account (for Classroom & Forms)\
> **Permissions:** You must be added as an **Author** by your organization admin.

### 2. Sign In

1. To get started, sign in using one of the following methods:
   * **Sign in with Google**: Click the **"Continue with Google"** button and choose your Google account. This method enables seamless integration with Google services like Drive and Classroom.
   * **Sign in with Email Link** *(password-less)*: Click the **"Continue with Email"** button. Enter your email address, and we'll send you a secure sign-in link from `noreply@mindengage.ai`. Click the link in your inbox to access your account—no password needed. If the message isn’t in your inbox within a minute or two, check your spam or junk folder.\

     *Note: Clicking the link may open a new application window to finalize the login.*<br>
2. If you signed in using Google authentication and wish to export your courses to Google Classroom, please authorize MindEngage to access your Google Drive and Classroom. This step is optional, and you'll be prompted for authorization when you choose to export to Google Classroom.

### 3. Create Your First Outline

1. Select **Course Builder**
2. Fill in **Subject**, **Audience**, **Duration**
3. Click **Generate Outline**

Clear, engaging course content begins with what you create — and MindEngage gives you flexible tools to kick off lessons from scratch or enhance them with your existing material.

### 4. Edit & Publish

1. Tweak lesson titles & descriptions
2. Click **Generate Full Course**
3. When complete, click **Publish** → **Google Classroom**
