# Deck Builder

Build intro or concept-preview slide decks using Reveal.js + Anime.js.

The **Presentation Deck Builder** lets you turn any lesson excerpt into a polished Reveal.js slide deck in seconds. Highlight your text, give the deck a title, pick a format—**Quick Overview** for a text-only student recap or **Explainer Slides – With Diagrams** for a teacher-facing deck with inline SVG visuals—and set the slide count. Click **Create** and a fully animated, self-contained HTML presentation is generated and inserted as a draggable Viz Card, ready for live instruction or learner review.

### Workflow

1. Select a **Course** and **Lesson**.
2. Highlight text using mouse from the lesson → **Presentation Deck builder** modal appears.
3. The selected text is used as name for the name of the presentation asset.

#### Presentation Types

**Quick Overview (No Diagrams)**

A self-contained, student-oriented Reveal.js deck (with Anime.js animations) that introduces and motivates the lesson in text-only slides.\
Includes a welcome slide, learning objectives, high-level lesson roadmap, brief previews of each section, study tips, and an optional mini self-check—no diagrams or SVG visuals.

**Explainer Slides – With Diagrams**

A teacher-facing Reveal.js deck (with light Anime.js) built for live instruction and deep dives.\
Features inline SVG diagrams on dedicated slides, concise core‐idea definitions, worked examples, interactive true/false checks, common misconceptions, summary takeaways, and exit-ticket prompts.

* **Number of Slides** – default 18

Once generated, you can edit the deck by re-prompting or place it in the lesson. Look at [Visual Editing ](/mindengage-docs/common-dialog-boxes/visual-editing.md)for more details.
